This week's theme is "Family." What is a better description to family than an infants Baptism? I've gone through so many photos but I kept coming back to this one of my nephew on his Baptismal Day. My brother in law and sister in law baptized their third child Iden Manuel on a gorgeous May day! My husband and sister in law were the Godparents and they couldn't have been happier. The church was filled with family and friends watching as this little man stepped his way into God's family as well! The day couldn't have had been more perfect.

Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus. He exists as certainly as love and generosity and devotion exist, and you know that they abound and give to your life its highest beauty and joy. Alas! how dreary would be the world if there were no Santa Claus! It would be as dreary as if there were no Virginias. My try at the Christmas Tree.....

After everyone went to bed I stayed up to take a picture of the tree at 2:30 in the morning!    I tried to get that star effect.  Didn't come out as well as I had hoped but none the less, it's still pretty good for my first time trying the 30 second shot!  And my tripod definantly didn't help.  I need a different one for my Nikon.

Where, oh where......?

I have taken a few Christmas photos but am unable to load them to my blog.  I am Apple-less.  I t has been over a week that I've had to send my macbook in for repair.  I feel nude without it.  I miss it oh so much!  Once it is back in my hands there will be many new photos, that is if I haven't lost any!  When, oh when will they call???
